How to play Golf Solitaire
Objective
Remove all 35 tableau cards onto the foundation before the stock runs out.
Setup
- Seven columns of five cards are dealt face up.
- One card starts the foundation; the remaining 16 form the stock.
Rules
- Play any exposed tableau card that is exactly one rank above or below the foundation card.
- In wrap mode, Ace and King connect; in no-wrap mode they do not.
- When no tableau move exists, turn the next stock card onto the foundation.
- The game ends when the tableau is cleared or the stock is exhausted.
Strategy tips
- Work the deepest columns first.
- Wrap mode is dramatically easier — start there.
- Look one move ahead: sometimes the shorter chain unlocks more cards.
