How to play Triangles
Objective
Complete more triangles than your opponent.
Setup
- A triangular lattice of dots with all edges unclaimed.
Rules
- On your turn, claim one unclaimed edge.
- Completing the third edge of a triangle claims it and grants you another turn.
- Play continues until every edge is claimed.
- The player with the most triangles wins.
Strategy tips
- Avoid giving your opponent the third edge of any triangle.
- Chains are everything — learn to give away the smallest one.
- Sacrificing two triangles to keep control of a long chain often wins.
